Junior High Ministry

Here at Impact, we bring together Junior Highers from Pleasant Hill, Martinez, Concord, Walnut Creek, and beyond every Wednesday Night for a time of fun and connection. We seek to live UP, IN, and OUT lifestyles, growing in our relationships with God, each other, and the world.

When We Meet

Sundays

Join us Sundays during the 10am service

 Students will start out in the main service with their families and then be dismissed to Impact Sunday Edition for a time of teaching, fun, and connection! On 1st Sunday of the month, students remain with their families for the entire service. If you need a place to sit on a first Sunday, many of our students sit together in the front row!

Wednesdays

Join us on Wednesdays nights from 6:45 pm to 8:30 pm 

A typical Wednesday night will include  games, a lesson from the Bible, and small groups. The last Wednesday of the month is our outreach night where we encourage students to invite their friends to join them for one of our fun events. These can be anything from a NERF War to a movie night to a Christmas party and more!

Tim Loux

Tim Loux has served as the Junior High Director here at Hope Center since July 2018. Tim grew up at First Covenant Church of Oakland and began volunteering in their youth ministry in 2012. He graduated with his BA in Communication Studies at San Francisco State University in December 2017 and his MA in Christian Formation from North Park Theological Seminary in May 2023. Tim married his high school sweetheart Clare in August 2018. He enjoys board games, escape rooms, sports (watching and playing), tasty food, and making people laugh!
