“He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you?  To act justly, and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8

We act justly when we support right relationships with God, people and creation. We love mercy when we cultivate a lifestyle of kindness and compassion. We walk humbly when we value all people as God does.             
The justice and mercy ministry team’s purpose is to help our church family and our community live out God’s "justice and mercy” in a spirit of humility. We meet monthly to plan and evaluate opportunities for teaching, training, surveys and service.

Serving monthly meals at the Concord homeless shelter.

Bringing meals to families at Hope Center.

*Hope's Kitchen: a new HopeCenter ministry serving youth that are graduating out of the foster care system.  Our focus is on introducing basic cooking knowledge, good shopping strategies and proper nutrition.  With Jesus as our role model, we hope to be living examples of God’s grace to these young people.  Please pray for this ministry.  And if you’re interested in supporting Hope’s Kitchen in any other way or would like more detailed information please contact Chris Guerra at theguerras98@att.net

Provides Sunday school “buddies” for special needs children.

A community play group where special needs children and “typical” children can play together.

Helps families transition out of homelessness by delivering furniture and kitchen starter kits.
